1. Realize that we are separated from Christ because of our sin ( Romans 3:23 )
2. Understand that we can do nothing to save ourselves..... to make ourselves right before a Holy God (Ephesians 2:8-9 )
3. Realize that Christ came, lived and died to pay the penalty for our sin - the penalty that we should rightly be paying for all eternity (1 Peter 3:18)
4. Call out to him in humble trust and dependency as our only hope of salvation and be willing to follow Him as the Lord and Master of our lives (Romans 10:13, John 10:27-28)
